Firstly can we take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support in fighting the Ridge Meadows development plans.
The latest, duplicate plans have received over 150 objections from residents and councillors which shows the level of concern the village has over this development.
The appeal by Kebbell Homes on the grounds of non-determination of initial plans for 26 houses on Ridge Meadows (Plan 17/00029/OT) is now going to be the subject of a Public Enquiry in 2018. We will update you when we know more about the dates for the Public Enquiry. We have a team of people at LVS who are planning for the process to ensure the village is well represented at the enquiry.
At the Plans Panel meeting on 21st December 2017, Leeds City Council will discuss their defence for the Public Enquiry in 2018. Whilst the public are welcome to this observe this meeting, neither the residents nor the developer are allowed to make further comments.
The Council have decided to hold in abeyance the duplicate plans 17/06609/OT, they will not be presented to the Plans Panel. The defence against the original plans will be applied to the latest plans as we expected.
